Fellowships for Training Programs

Fellowships for Training Programs

Fellowship:

EMDR, PC, Intensive Trauma-Focused Therapy, Trauma Therapy Certificate Program, Intensive Certificate

This Fellowship offers a full tuition waiver for any of the following training programs for which you can register on this website: EMDR Therapy, PC (Progressive Counting), Intensive Trauma-Focused Therapy, Trauma Therapy Certificate Program, or Intensive Therapy Certification. Fellows commit to:

  • Participating fully in the training program.
  • Providing, on mutually-agreeable dates, a 4 day intensive therapy retreat, client(s) to be provided by TICTI.
    • Alternately, at TICTI’s option, providing an equivalent amount of therapy or other services in a research project.

To qualify for the Fellowship, applicants must

  • be a mental health professional at the Master’s level or higher, licensed (or on a licensure track) for independent practice. If you’re not sure if your profession or practice credential qualifies, ask.
  • have an active therapy caseload.
  • have the capacity to provide a multi-day therapy retreat (you’d need a therapy office as well as malpractice insurance); if this would be under the auspices of your agency, then the agency’s approval must be documented.

To apply, e-mail Dr. Greenwald the following (in a single e-mail):

  • your CV
  • a brief (2 pg max) cover letter describing (a) your qualifications (as per above), (b) your prior trauma training and if/how you have used it, and (c) your reasons for wanting to do this training/fellowship, including what you hope/plan to do with what you learn.
  • Two recommendation letters from people who can speak to your qualities relevant to the plans noted in your cover letter. If you have recommendation letters already on hand, you can use those if they are applicable.

Decisions will be made as applications come in, on a first-come basis. Telephone or zoom interviews may be requested at the discretion of TICTI. Applications will be reviewed according to many factors.
